What is Takt?
Takt is your pace for getting things done. Thoughts, letters and photos land in the inbox, become tasks with a project and due date, and move through Next, Focus and Review to Done. On your device, AI suggests a project, due date and title — you decide what to accept. Takt runs on iPhone and iPad and syncs through your iCloud.
Frequently asked questions
- How do my tasks get to my iPad or a second iPhone?
- Takt syncs through your iCloud. Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on all devices and allow Takt to use iCloud: “Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Apps Using iCloud › Takt”. New entries then show up on your other devices within a few seconds.
- Some entries are missing on one device. What can I do?
- Check that both devices use the same Apple Account, are online and that Takt is allowed to use iCloud (see above). If your iCloud storage is full, nothing can sync — see “Settings › [your name] › iCloud”. Then open Takt again.
- Why don’t I see AI suggestions?
- AI suggestions come from Apple Intelligence and run on your device only. You need a device that supports Apple Intelligence and have to turn it on in Settings under “Apple Intelligence & Siri”. Within Takt you can switch AI on or off in the app’s settings. Without Apple Intelligence, Takt works fully, just without suggestions.
- Is my data back after reinstalling?
- Yes. Your content lives in your private iCloud, not only in the app. When you reinstall Takt or set up a new device with the same Apple Account, Takt downloads everything again.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Takt has no sign-in. Your Apple Account and iCloud are enough.
- Can anyone else see my data?
- No. Everything is stored in the private area of your iCloud. Not even I, as the developer, have access. Details in the privacy policy.
- How do I delete all my data?
- Delete single items right in the app. To remove everything at once, go to “Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage › Takt”.
